The Council of Holistic Health Educators is the only independent nonprofit advocacy group for holistic schools, practitioners, and stakeholders. Membership is open to all holistic health and wellness schools, programs, and stakeholders. The Council was built to be different, foremost to serve our community directly in the fight for our rights, and do all we can to help this amazing community grow. We’re not your average nonprofit. There are many benefits to being a member of the Council and we would love to speak with you about how we can work together.
Presently we only offer memberships to institutions and schools, but in the future we hope to do extend that to individual practitioners.
Our Guiding Principles
There are a lot of great nonprofits out there. From the beginning we have aimed to be different, and have held fast to a set of principles that puts our members, grantors, and donors first. The Council is funded through grants and school memberships. We don’t have a credential to sell, and we are careful with the schools, programs, and stakeholders that we work with. Also…
- We are transparent.
We don’t hide our members, there are no lavish salaries, and we are all committed to the holistic community. Each of us at the Council has a responsibility that we take very seriously to hold one another to high ethical standards. - Our members deserve a return on their advocacy investment. We are proud of the many ways that we give all of our members a return on their trust and investment in us.
- We are more than just an advocacy organization.
The Council was founded to unite our unique strengths, modalities, philosophies, and history for a common purpose: to stand together in defending our rights. We take that seriously as we help our members to grow. - We support one another.
The Council does not prioritize one modality, school, or philosophy over another. We are in this together, and we are united as a Council of Holistic Health Educators to move this profession forward, and tear down barriers to practice. We recognize that each of our member schools has a unique role to fill in this amazing community, and we fight for the greatest benefit for everyone. Together we are stronger.
